About Me! I LOVE to read and write, using literature, authentic resources, and web-based tools to motivate students to dig deeper, expand their explorations, to critically read and communicate, thereby helping them become more proficient at 21st century skills.
I have been at NEMS for over fifteen years and really enjoy the diversity of students who are zoned for this school. I learn so much from them. I love to travel and have been to most of the states in the U.S. as well as several countries in Europe. In fact, I own a small home in Italy so when summer break arrives, you will usually find me on a plane headed that way! My travels help me to understand our world better and hopefully transfer those ideas into instruction. |
